Embrace & Exhale Ecotherapy Retreat
A Nature-Based Retreat for Black Women
October 2–5, 2025 | Las Vegas, Nevada

Embrace & Exhale is a sacred offering for Black women ready to deepen their connection to self, spirit, and nature. Through intentional and immersive nature experiences, this retreat invites you to release what no longer serves you and return home to yourself. Prepare to enter a nurturing space for stillness, restoration, and self-exploration at this intimate retreat created for Black women.

Surrounded by the desert’s vast beauty, from the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon to the quiet magic of Red Rock Canyon, we will explore what it means to exhale—spiritually, emotionally, and physically.

Return to yourself in the quiet of the desert—led by a licensed psychotherapist who will hold space and guide you through therapeutic workshops and grounding activities that support clarity, release, reflection, and emotional repair.
💫Who is this retreat for?💫
This retreat is lovingly created for Black women seeking:
-
Reconnection to their spiritual and ancestral relationship with nature
-
Healing through silence, stillness, and sacred community
-
A safe space to rest, release, and rediscover joy
-
Opportunity to explore self-scenic landscapes
-
Adventure through moderate hikes
Discover a renewed sense of self as you embark on this journey of connection and release.

Everyday life can feel like a constant cycle of doing—caring for others, meeting expectations, and pushing through. But for three days, we invite you to step away from the noise and return to a slower pace, where your only task is to be with yourself.
Throughout the retreat, you’ll have access to a range of wellness offerings—each one an open invitation rather than an obligation. Whether you choose to move, rest, reflect, or simply breathe, this space is yours.

More than just rest, this retreat is a homecoming. A place to rediscover what self-love looks like in your life, to care for your whole being—mind, body, and spirit—and to reconnect with the parts of yourself that deserve your tenderness.

Why attend this retreat?
The Value of Ecotherapy
Ecotherapy recognizes what many of us have always known deep down: that nature heals. Grounded in the understanding that we are not separate from the natural world but a part of it, ecotherapy invites us to reconnect with the earth as a pathway to reconnecting with ourselves. Whether it’s through walking in the woods, sitting by water, gardening, or simply breathing fresh air with intention, these experiences can reduce stress, improve mood, and support emotional clarity. For communities of color—who have often been systemically disconnected from land—ecotherapy also offers a form of reclamation, restoration, and belonging. It is not just about healing in nature, but healing with nature.

The Value of Emotional Release

Holding onto unexpressed emotions can weigh heavily on the body, mind, and spirit. Emotional release is the process of allowing yourself to feel, express, and move through emotions rather than suppressing or intellectualizing them. It creates space—for clarity, softness, and healing. When we give ourselves permission to release anger, grief, fear, or pain, we interrupt patterns of disconnection and open the door to deeper self-awareness and inner peace. Emotional release isn’t about falling apart—it’s about coming home to yourself with honesty, compassion, and care. It’s a powerful act of liberation, especially for those who’ve been taught to “hold it all together” at the expense of their well-being.
