Helping people and teams heal, steady themselves, and work well together through their relationship with the land.
I’m Dr. Tiffany A. Wright, LCSW, a licensed clinical social worker in California, Nevada, and Texas, a researcher, and a facilitator.
I help people, teams, and communities heal, reconnect, and reclaim their wholeness, often by bringing them outdoors.
My research centers ecotherapy and the healing traditions of Black American communities. My peer-reviewed work appears in the Journal of Community Practice and Social Work in Public Health (2026), and I teach clinicians through a 6-hour continuing education course on ecotherapy. That same ancestral, nature-based, culturally affirming care shapes everything I offer, from team sessions to speaking to community wellness work.
Above all, I am a Black woman, motivated by love, legacy, liberation, and service.
Explore how we can work together below.

My Wellness Approach
My mission is to help break cycles of dis-ease, disconnection, and communal struggle by creating spaces for healing, reflection, and restoration. Whether I’m working with individuals, teams, communities, or fellow clinicians, I approach healing and transformation holistically, with a focus on tools for self-reflection and nature-based healing.
Embracing Culturally Affirming Practices
My clinical, community, and research work centers ancestral and culturally grounded approaches to healing and liberation, drawing on ways of caring for well-being that existed long before colonization. At the heart of my practice is ecotherapy, sometimes called eco-wellness or ecopsychology. As a mindfulness- and somatic-focused practitioner, I also bring intuitive movement, meditation, gratitude reflection, intention setting, sound healing, artistic expression, storytelling, role play, and ancestral veneration into healing and learning spaces.
Beyond the Work
Outside of my purpose-driven work, I’m an outdoor enthusiast who loves visiting national parks, hiking, and diving. I’m an avid traveler who enjoys journaling, painting, sharing food with community, and anything that cultivates joy or restores the spirit.
